Meet the Team: Rachele Tracy

Take a moment to read the interview with Rachele Tracy, a member of SBI’s support team.

How long have you been with SBI?

Nine months, since February 2016.

In which part of the SBI system do you specialize?

In SBI back office, I specialize in Open Orders and Invoices, Inventory Control, and User Security. In MofuMobi I specialize in Inventory Control app, Wireless Sales app, and Mobile Availability and Orders app.

What’s the most common question you get about that part of the system?

The most common questions come out of user security. The most common ones that I hear are, “My new user is unable to print any reports. Why is this?” This typically occurs when the option to ‘Reload User Tables’ has not been run after the creation of a new user.

What one tip or trick would you want every user to know?

How to use the Templates on the TRIUMPH screens. Templates will allow you to save a screen design specific to what you want to see. All the columns on the screens are drag-and-drop, so you can move them in any order that you want, or simply drag them lower on the screen to remove them completely. If you want to add a column that you don’t see, just right click one of the column headers and select ‘Column Chooser’. You can then drag-and-drop the columns listed in this screen to where you want them. Once you are done, select the ‘Screen Templates’ drop down, select ‘Save Layout’, name the template, and set to your default. Now every time you sign in it will default to your template automatically. These templates can be used across multiple users, but your default is user-specific.

What is your favorite word?

It’s pretty silly, but its “spork”. It’s kind of an inside joke between my sister and I. As the story goes, we were at a New Year’s Eve all night skate event when I was 13 and she was 10. Neither of us had slept in about 36 hours by this point and the word had us rolling on the floor laughing. You had to be there!

What would you say is the least helpful way to communicate with clients?

If I could choose a phrase, it would be “Can I ask a quick question?” Questions that proceed this phrase almost never have a quick or easy answer.

Favorite hobby/sport/activity?

I love to cook and bake. I enjoy trying new recipes and putting my own spin on them. Most recently I made a pumpkin pie with maple syrup instead of sugar. It was amazing! I also enjoy traveling and trying the local cuisine. Not only are you on an adventure, your taste buds are too.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

I have always enjoyed photography. When I was in high school I was involved in all the photography and journalism classes. I was very good at taking candid shots of people and enjoyed taking shots of nature. I would love to return to this passion one day.

What one thing should people know about you?

I don’t have a green thumb. I only have a few plants that I haven’t managed to kill, mostly because my fiancé likes them and won’t let me.
